Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's journey in combat sports started at the age of 14. After a kickboxing training session, BJJ and wrestling, she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd then went on to beat three times in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents were finished within the first few minutes. In WCFC, Ladd defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia gave Aspen an unanimity loss and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's amateur career. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n' Uff and improved her amateur record to 8-1. Aspen was a pro-fighter for the first time in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC. Invicta fight Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta '11 and she won by the first round TKO. The next time she fought, she won against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then fought at Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen employed the strong abilities she acquired in wrestling to defeat McGill. She won the fight with a the TKO (3rd round) (elbows and punches). Aspen then faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy as the catchweight (138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd did not weigh in. Aspen still dominated Hoy to finish her in 2nd round via TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final fight for the company. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks defeated by an unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina with the ground and pound strategy and earned an TKO second round victory. Ladd continued to dominate and picked up a more stunning victory in her next bout against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd defeated Evinger in the first round. She also received a performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes, in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was the first fight she had in any major capacity. Ladd took home the fight of the night bonus, after both fighters had an intense back and forth battle. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd within 16 seconds of the fight and ended her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya fell in the 3rd round at UFC 7 on ESPN. In her most recent fight with the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. The fight was a unanimous decision.
