Allison Janney bio
Allison Brooks Janney (born April 14 in 1970) is an American actor. Known for her performances across the stage and screen She has been awarded a variety of awards, including the Academy Award a British Academy Film Award and a Golden Globe Award and seven Primetime Emmy Awards, in addition to being nominated for two Tony Awards. Allison Janney was a regional actress for nearly twenty years before becoming famous as White House Press secretary C.J. Gregg on the well-known and highly acclaimed drama on television The West Wing (NBC 1999-2006). Allison Janney was always a late stager. Her driving permit was not issued until the age of 17, one year after many of her peers were from Ohio. Then she didn't meet her first date until when she entered university. Although she auditioned in the age of 23, Faris didn't start appearing onscreen until she reached the age of 30. Since stepping away from Mom in 2020, Faris has been very cautious about roles, mainly performing in animated films, with the exception from The Estate in 2022. The Estate. Janney was wearing an unreal wig since she started the series. Fallon stated "'Guys I've worn an wig since the beginning of season 1, but no one was aware of it. Now everyone in the world is aware.'" Janney intends to keep the wig for an object of collection. In the first season there was a report that she was earning up to $125,000 an episode. It is estimated that in the third or fourth season however that Faris and the fellow co-star Allison Janey were earning $200,000 each episode.
