Laura Linney has been hailed as one of America's top acclaimed actors. Her fame is for her strong character that are as vulnerable. While working as a summer intern in her father's company, Laura Linney became fascinated with theatre. Later, at Brown University she studied acting and at Juilliard School, after which the career of her choice took off. When she graduated at Brown University in the year 2000, she started making her Broadway debut shortly thereafter. After two years of that, her first film hit the market, and next year she made her television debut. Her appearances have been on a variety of shows on stage, television and film productions since then. Her nominations include three Oscar Awards, five Tony Awards, and four Primetime Emmy Awards (including two Golden Globe Awards), as well as received numerous awards over her time on the stage. Yet, despite the array of awards, theatre has remained her passion first and foremost. She has continued to appear both on stage and screen.
