Jenna Fischer's best-known role was as Pam Beesly from the popular television series The Office. In appreciation of her work, she was awarded the Emmy award for the Best Actress in a Supporting Role and received 2 SAG Awards.
She was raised primarily on the streets of St. Louis Missouri. Jenna was a spectator as her mother Anne took part in plays at church. The passion for performing and theater began when she was a teenager.

She is the author of two books. The Actor's Life: A Survival Guide that describes her journey through St. Louis to Hollywood in order to be a professional actor. She is also the author of Office BFF's: Tales of The Office From Two Best Friends Who Were There (co-authored together with Angela Kinsey) The book is a memoir of their best friendship as well as their work on The Office.
